Orange, CALIF. (May 22, 2019) - Students, teachers and parents at Huntsville City Schools now have a faster and easier way to communicate and stay up to date on district events, thanks to a new mobile app created by 360Civic.

HCS Connect provides schedule notifications for athletic game schedules, school events, and important dates such as when report cards are due. It also offers video of school board meetings, and a direct line to contact District personnel.

The mobile app is customizable, so students particularly interested in one sport or school organization can receive notifications related to that program up to ten days in advance.

“These days it has never been more important for parents, teachers and school staff to stay informed about what is going on in their schools,” said 360Civic cofounder Bridget DiRico. “Our goal was to work with the Huntsville District to create a comprehensive, expandable, secure and easy-to-use solution that would accomplish their objectives.”

“The product 360Civic delivered exceeded our expectations,” said Huntsville City School District Webmaster Kevin Redmond. “They worked patiently with us over a series of several revisions to make sure the app was just right for us.”

HCS Connect is free, can be accessed on both the iOS and Android platforms, and is available in the App Store and Google Play store.
